World Animal Health Organization

Additionally, the World Animal Health Organization (WOAH) has reported that wild animals such as white-tailed deer are likely to harbor the coronavirus. More research is needed to assess the potential consequences as well. Although there is currently no definitive evidence of its spread. But the spread of the virus from humans to white-tailed deer populations has occurred several times. Therefore, awareness should be given to hunters and those who live or work with wildlife. This is to avoid unnecessary interactions with wildlife and to avoid leaving garbage or human objects in forested areas accessible to wildlife.
