It would be nice to see something else than my immediate environment every now and then but I always feel so anxious of the thought of having to travel. Also I don’t have any money lol.
Anyway I would worry about getting lost or that something went wrong and they aren’t expecting me in the hotel when I arrive, speaking foreign languages. Stuff like that… I went on holidays in my youth with friends but I never organised or planned anything, I just left all initiatives to the others and tagged along.
Let’s say I want to travel to the US (just hypothetically). I literally don’t have a clue where to begin lol. I don’t think I can handle the responsibility.
When I see families on the news checking in at airports for their holidays it all seems so complicated and stressful. i would need handholding ( not literally thank you ) from start to finish.
I can’t organize a travel either. I could figure out how to buy plane tickets and a hotel room, but Idk what to do past that. I mean what would I even do in a foreign country? Hang out in my hotel? I think traveling would be fun if you did it with someone else, possibly. Anyway I don’t know how people plan vacations. I would just show up there and wander around I guess. That’s how I live my life currently in my home country.
If you plan your trip in advance and always know where you are going, traveling cannot be stressful. It is important to understand what you want to see during your trip and what places to visit. And, of course, sometimes show flexibility and change plans. If you are worried that you will not have enough money, it is better to use sites such as hoopladoopla.com and fully enjoy discounts. It helps save a few hundred dollars, which is nice for your wallet.
