As an alcoholic is drinking, the body's glucose supply is restricted because the body is so focused on trying to metabolize the alcohol. Thirty minutes before you go to bed, have a nice hot beverage... green tea, hot milk or what ever you like plus the other half of that Zone Bar you had for your 3 O'Clock snack. (I have to half the Zone Bars because I am on 1200 calories a day and some of the bars have 300+ calories). If you do decide to toss them in hot water, you can recapture the nutrients by using the potato water for other foods such as soups and stews.

So depending on artificial sweeteners as the source of sweetness to help you lose weight is a bad idea. No one likes to be called fat or think of themselves as fat, so we say overweight, portly, rotund, chubby and use other phrases like take off pounds, lose weight, or take off inches. Besides brimming with sight-saving vitamin A, kumquats also contain lutein and zeaxanthin.
