Shorte.St Confirmation Dialog Drives Me CRAZY
Permalink

I'm a user. I've tried many links with shortener but Shorte.St is the worst! I'm sorry to say this but this is how I feel. Why? I'll explain.

1. After waiting for 5 second, a skip button will appear. If I press skip, confirmation will pop up: leave page or stay. If I click other browser tab before answering, the confirmation dialogue will be gone. When I return, I can't click leave or stay, even if I reclick the Skip button. Reloading is useless! The only solution is to copy the Shorte.st link to a new browser tab, re-wait for 5 seconds, and press Leave.

2. If Shorte.st window is open, I need to re-confirm if I want to close it!

See how cumber it is??? I have to reclick, reload, re-wait.... Ugghh.... It drives me crazy! Please fix the script! Thank you.

I don't think Shorte.st is to blame for this, I think it is down to the ad networks which are used by shorte.st and the advertisers which their ad networks use. I'm not too sure but I'm guessing they can run whatever javascript they want inside an iframe.

Hello Ninja, perhaps the methodology not you think the best, but we are the most flexible in terms of requests from our users, and we pay the more rates higher and reliable :)
